Iran: resemblance

November 29, one woman and five men were hanged in the prison of Kermanshah.
According to Fars newsagency the not identified men and woman were convicted for drugstrafficking.
Also in Kermanshah are H. H. and M. R. hanged in public on Azadisquare.
According to the judiciair report they were convicted for the kidnapping and rape of five women.
ISNA reports that in Saveh M.S. (IHR reports that a contact said that his full name is Mansur Salamat) was hanged in public on the Khalij-e-Fars square. He was convicted for the rape of a woman two years ago.

Imprisoned journalist Amir Ali Allamehzadeh who was arrested September 14 was transferred from Branch 14 of the Government Employees and Media Court to Branch 2 of Shahid Moghaddas Court from IRGC inside Evin Prison.He is in solitary confinement and is only allowed to have visitors in an IRGC controlled room with a closed circuit of television cameras and it is forbidden to discuss the conditions.

Yesterday stormed Iranian "students" the British Embassy in Tehran and briefly detained Embassypersonnel.This were all members of the Basij militia and, different from other protests, the securityguards allowed them to ramsack the building and only later did police officers in riot gear begin a somewhat lackadaisical effort to remove the protesters from the grounds.
The embassypersonnel will be evacuated from Iran. It is not known whether the embassy remains open.
The attack looked like the one on the American Embassy in 1979. Many of the chants were alike.

Student Abdolfazl Tabarzadi, 24, who was arrested December 19 2010 and was sentenced to 15 months in prison, which was reduced in appeal to 9 months, was denied a short prisonleave to take an exam outside the prison.
He was transferred October 18 to Karoon Prison in Ahvaz to serve his prisonsentence.

Almost one month after his arrest the wife of Payman Aref told International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran that authorities are not providing any causes for his arrest and that her attempts to find out about his case have been futile.
The bail for his release was set to $20.000, but even after paying the amount, he was not released.
Since his arrest she only was allowed to speak twice to him by telephone, but not in person.

Iran: money

In the prison of Qom is November 24 a man hanged.
The man L.A. was convicted for smuggling and keeping 340 kg of crack.
Mehrnews also reported that on July 3rd also a man was hanged.
This execution has not been reported by official Iranian sources previously.

The IRINN-news-channel reported that another 27 people were arrested over the recent $2.8 billion bank corruption case.
A criminal case has been filed against 50 people.
Prosecutor General of Iran Gholamhossein Mohseni E'jei said that in recent months 126 people have been brought to justice, 106 people of them are charged with this case.

Iranian task force for IT crimes announced/ that police will enlist the aid of computer hackers. The head of Iranian IT crimes task force says that it has divided hackers into three groups: white hats, pink hats and black hats.
Hackers who illegally enter computer systems to damage or steal something are the black hats.
Those who hack into systems to show off are referred to as pink hats, and those who do it to determine the weaknesses of security systems are referred to as white hats.
The so-called pink and white hats are not considered criminals and police welcomes hackers to share their skills. According to him 50% of Iranian hackers are under 25 years of age.
American intelligence says that Iran Cyber Army has a budget of $76 million, with 2,400 employees and 12,000 reservists.
In September Iran Cyber Army hacked 500 Dutch websites, Iraanse media reported that Iranian hackers had attacked internet portals of Mossad, the CIA and Israel.

According to Vahed Workers Syndicate, is Reza Shahabi, treasurer and member of the board of Vahed Syndicate November 21, taken from Evinprison to the hospital.
Shahabi is in prison since June 12.He is in urgent need of an operation but refuses to give his consent while he is in prisonlimbo.
He started a hungerstrike to protest to his current conditions.

Iran: more

November 24 were 11 prisoners hanged in the prison of Shiraz.
The men were not identified.According to the official web site of the Iranian judiciary in Fars province,the men were convicted of drug trafficking.
The trials were held behind closed doors and were not confirmed by an independent source.

Since June Bahai Farhood Eshtiyagh is detained without a warrant and according to the Human Rights House of Iran he is held in Mashadd prison after 4.5 months of detention. He is suffering from heart problems and Guuillain-Barre Syndrome.
He was granted prison visits only twice during this time.

Azerbaijani writer and journalist Rafiq Tagi has died four days after being stabbed, in a hospital in Baku.
Taqi, a critic of the Azerbaijani government, neighbouring Iran and political Islam, was stabbed on November 19th, 7 times in front of his house.
After surgery he had been reported to be in satisfactory condition.

Iran's defense minister ruled out sabotage as the cause of a recent explosion at an ammunition depot.

Blogger and medical student at Manila Medical School on Philippines Rojin Mohammadi is arrested October 24 on returning from Turkey to Iran. She was transferred to Evinprison, and after 24 hours released on bail. Five days later her parents house was searched by security agents. She was arrested on unknown charges.

The political secretary of Iran’s Freedom Movement, Mohammad Tavassoli, 74 is in prison without being allowed to contact his family.
November 3, Tavassoli was arrested in relation with a letter sent October 15 to Mohammad Khatami signed by 143 political and social activists.
He is accused of forging the signatures of this letter, but during the weeks he is in prison, several of the people who signed the letter have been interrogated and all said ‘we signed the letter ourselves and it is not a forgery'.

Siamak Ghaderi a former IRNA reporter wrote a letter from prison, to remind the public that not long ago, journalists like him received similar treatment from the very IRNA chief under attack today.
Ghaderi writes of the “inhumane” treatment he received from intelligence officials, who carried a letter from Javanfekr accusing him of being “anti-regime and anti-Velayat Faqih,” similar to the allegations reportedly now levelled against Javanfekr.
Ghaderi was arrested in August 2010 and is serving a 3 years prisonsentence.

Iran: suppressed

In the past two weeks, the authorities in Iran have intensified their attacks on journalists and newspapers.
According to the CPJ since December 2010 34 journalists and bloggers are in prison. In 2011 more than 60 journalists have been forced into exile and authorities have shut down at least 40 publications since 2009.
It was now disclosed that in March Azeri journalist Fereydoun Seydi Rad was arrested and spent 43 days in isolation. His sister said their family had maintained silence for eight months because they had been threatened. In August, a Tehran Revolutionary Court sentenced Seydi Rad to one year in prison for "propagating against the regime" in writings on his blog, Arak Green Revolution, and two years for "participating in Ayatollah Montazeri's funeral" and "participating in an Ashura Day protest," in December 2010, which Seydi Rad denied.

The appeals court upheld the heavy prisonsentences against four leftish laboractivists from Tabriz, East Azerbaijan.
Shahrokh Zamani was sentenced to 11 years, Nima Pouryaghob to 6 years, Mohammad Jarahi to 5 years and Sasan Vahebivash was sentenced to 6 months in prison.
A fifth defendant Buick Sydler was found not guilty.

November 20 were in Vakilabadprison in Mashhad 2 men hanged.
The not identified men were convicted for the rape of a 15 year-old boy.

The state newspaper IRNA denounced that its chief-editor and 39 others have been arrested.
The paper appeared in print halfwit and saif that the arrestations hampered the papers work.
The arrests appear linked to a power struggle between Ahmadinejads presschief , Ali Akbar Javanfekr and his opponents.
Javanfekr who works for IRNA Sunday has been sentenced to 1 year in prison and a 3 year ban to work as a journalist for publishing material “contrary to Islamic norms.”
His arrest shows the powerstruggle between Ahmadinejad and the group clerics and members of IRGC.
Witnesses say that he was arrested while teargas was sprayed in the building.

Iranian airliner Mahan Air bought a depriciated airplane from the German Government. It is the chancellors airplane "Theodor Heuss", an Airbus 310-304 which has flown 20 years for German government.
The aircraft has been transferred to Kiev and then to Tehran.
Very strange in this is, while Germany urges further sanctioning of Iran., Germany sold the aircraft in June to an easteuropean investorsholding for 3125 Million Euros. This group has sold it in silence to Iran.

November 16, security agents shot at 2 Nimatullahi Gonabadi Sufi derwishes when they resisted their arrest. Website Majzooban Nur, reported that Zabehe Kurdpour and Reza Poshtkar were heading towards the dervishes’ temple in Kavar County,when they were stopped.

Iran: prison

AFP reports that the deathtoll as result of the blast last week has risen to 36.
This doubles the toll of 17 who were reported or the 23 wounded people,mentioned by a Revolutionary Guards spokesman.
The raised death toll was based on a compilation of reports of funerals in Iran’s news agencies over the past few days, as well as newspapers published on Thursday. The articles identified those buried by name, for a total of 36 names.

The conditions in prisons in Iran are more deteriorating.
Currently 13,000 people are packed in s prison with a capacity for 3,000 people .
The Central Prison of Mashhad, Camp Chenaran and the Corrections and Rehabilitation Center of Mashhad, say that they can hold on average 15 thousand and 9,953 prisoners, respectively.Currently they have three times the capacity of prisoners.
Last year the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran published a report about Ward 350 of Evinprison.
Humanrightsactivist Ali Kantouri who was detained in Ghazal Hessar Prison in Karaj, told ICHRI that a high population is packed together in very little space. Hygienic conditions are very bad also so many inmates suffer from "prisonfever"because they infect each other.
People who suffer from serious medical illnesses are in need of urgent care, such as Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, Abdollah Momeni, Keyvan Samimi, Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, Ali Tari, Ghassem Shole Saadi, Issa Saharkhiz, Shabnam Medadzadeh, and Hamed Rouhinezhad outside the prison.

The lawyer Abdolfattah Soltani who currently is detained in Evinprison, wants to file a lawsuit against Mohammad Javad Larijani who falsely accused him of terroristic connections.
His wife, Massoumeh Dehghan told ICHRI that Soltani never has faced such charges and that he and his lawyers will be filing a lawsuit against him.

Iran: fact

The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran said that Iran should stop misrepresenting the records about the humanrightssituation in Iran.
Larijani,the head of the High Council for Human Rights of Iran, said to the United Nations presscorps on November 16 that oppositionleaders Mir Hussein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi have been charged with incitement to violence, amongst other crimes. Larijani also said that humanrightslawyer Abdolfattah Soltani is detained because of connections to terrorist groups, although he presented no evidence to support his claim.

Peyman Aref's wife told in an interview with International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran that the reason for the arrest of her husband within days after his release from Evinprison, must be a personal one.
He has told about the flogging and named the people involved. She also said that he told her he is in ward 350 of Evin prison and that bail is set to $20.000.

Iran media has doubts whether the dead of Ahmad Rezai, the son of Mohsen Rezai was a suicide.Dubai police said that he was found by hotel staff and that one of Rezai’s wrists was slit.
The official newspaper IRNA,the semiofficial Fars agency and website Tabnak, wrote about his death as suspicious. Newsagency Mehr writes that Rezai died from electrical shock.
