The men, M. M. and A. Ch. were convicted for hiding of 111 kilos of heroin and A. D. is convicted for trafficking of 1520 grams of opium and 60 kilos of heroin.

The student Ehsan Abdeh Tabrizi, who was arrested in December 2009 on Mehrabadairport when he returned from England, where he is a student at Dunham University, is detained in ward 350 of Evinprison.
He spent 50 days in isolation and went on a hunger strike twice in order to protest his arrest.
His father, Hossein Abdeh-Tabrizi, is a critic of Ahmadinejad’s economic policies. He is the former secretary of Tehran Stock Exchange.
His family is requesting that the judicial authorizes release their son on bail as soon as possible.

The Appeals Court upheld the prisonsentence of 5 years against the member of Jebheh Mosharekat (Iran Participation Front) Mehdi Mahmoudian .
According to Jars he was arrested September 16, 2009 and since then he was in prison.
Mahmoudian had an important role in revealing the murders that took place in Kahrizak, publishing the names of 70 of the post- election martyrs and filming the mass graves in section 302 of the Beheshteh Zahra Cemetery.

Iranian statetelevision said that this morning a bomb exploded during a military parade in the city of Mahabad.
10 people lost their lives and 57 people, mostly women and children, were injured.
Authorities say that the explosion was caused by terrorists of a Kurdish separatist movement.

According to newsagency Fars are in the Karounprison of Ahwaz on September 20th 3 men hanged.
The report says that Gh. A. was convicted for selling 1,24 kilos and keeping 985 grams of heroin, and S. F. was convicted for selling and posession of 146 grams of heroin.They were sentenced to death by the revolutionary court in Abadan.
Gh.J. was sentenced to death for murder.

Human Rights and Democracy Activists reports that Dutch-Iranian Zahra Bahrami is under intense pressure by the interrogators to confess to the false allegations.
She is charged with drugsale and drug possession.
She appeared in front of Judge Salavati of the 15th branch of the Revolutionary Court, on September 8 and September 11.
As her lawyer, Nasrin Sotoodeh is in prison she refused to speak in court and the trial has been postponed.

The journalist Siamak Ghaderi, is detained on July 27th, 2010 for administering a blog by the name of “IRNA-yeh Maa” (Our IRNA) and publishing articles in regards to the green movement and the post-election protests. His blog was filtered 12 times but he managed to fix the problems.
He worked as an editor, a reporter and a journalist for IRNA for the past 18 years.

Iran: responsible

Mehdi Karroubi, wrote a letter to Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the chairman of the counsel of experts.
In this letter he states that under the Constitution the Supreme Leader is responsible and that the board of experts has to prevent the abuse of power by authorities in Iran.
He writes, among other things, that the spiritual leader in Iran at least 10 times can be hold responsible in regards to human rights violations and disrespect for humans in general.

The Committee of Human Rights Reporters (CHRR) reported that she also is sentenced to 73 lashes. The sentences were issued by Judge Pir Abassi in branch 26 of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court.

December 7, 2009 he was arrested. The verdict is: 5 years prison term for association and collusion with the intent to act against national security.

On the road from Chabahar to Zahedan was yesterday a bus stopped and six people were kidnapped.Five of them were soldiers from an airbase and the sixth was a bankemployee.
The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the group Jundullah.
IRNA reported September 18 that two of the hostages, 2 airforceofficers were freed by the IRGC.
They also denied that Jundullah was the hostagetaker.

Reports from inside Rajai Shahrprison say that the physical condition of Arzhang Davoudi is critical. Hij is 66 days in hungerstrike and his weight is 35 kg's.
He protests against the cutting of telephone privileges, the lack of investigation into his complaint about the head of Rajai Shahr prison Ali Hajkazem, and the confiscation and selling of his family’s home by orders of judge Haddad.
Two nights ago, Arzhang Davoudi’s telephone privileges were restored, but he insists to remain on hunger strike until all his demands are met.

Reza Shahabi, a member of Tehran Bus Union’s board of directors, has been held in prison limbo in ward 209 of Evinprison for over 3 months.
He was arrested June 12th and spent a month in isolated detention in ward 209.
He is suffering from neck pain and digestive problems.

September 10th is the political activist Reza Kermani, 77 along with Hossein Shahriari arrested on their way to Isfahan. Kermani was under intensive medical care before his detainment for kidneyproblems, bloodpressure and medication to prevent a stroke.
According to Committee of Human Rights Reporters he suffered a brain stroke twice and has been on chemotherapy for several years.

September 14, one man was hanged in the prison of Shirvan.
The man was not identified, he was sentenced to death for keeping 401 grams of chrystal.
Newsagency Fars reports that Amin, 25, is scheduled to be hanged in the prison of Varamin.
He is sentenced twice to death, 173 lashes, 25 years in prison, for rape. He was originally scheduled to be hanged in public but the chief prosecutor of Varamin said that the hanging will be carried out inside the prison due to security reasons.

Anoush Namvar was electrocuted on her workplace.
She worked illegally due to financial reasons and was killed by unsafe working conditions.She was buried by Turkish police without the presence of UN representatives.

On Tuesday 7 September police in Qeshm Island shot a teenager in the head.
Sadiq Dulabizadeh was fishing when he was arrested by the police and executed by shooting in his head in front of many local residents who witnessed the execution.
Following this witnesses attacked police forces and the police forces escaped from the area immediately.

Iran: cause
Arzhang Davoudi who is in hungerstrike for over 2 months and is hardly able to speak or open his eyes, was transferred to the clinic at Rajai Shahr prison.
In this clinic he was under heavy pressure to undersign a paper, which would assign him all responsibilities for the consequences of his hungerstrike.
He refused and insisted to continue his hunger strike until all his demands are met.
Davoudi is detained since November 9th, 2003 on the charges of “acting against national security” and writing the “Manifesto of Secular Iranians.”

At least 25 people were killed in a busaccident on the road of Tehran to Saveh.
According to ISNA 14 people were injured and taken to the hospital in Saveh.
Suspected as cause of the accident is tiredness of the driver.

Hussein Alizadeh who defected September 11 as Iranian diplomat in Finland, is the third Iranian diplomat who resigned.
Mohamed Reza Heydari and Farzad Farhangian did already resign earlier this year.

Friday occurred an explosion at Sarakhs-Mashhad gaspipeline and cost the lives of 4 people while 16 people were injured.
An eyewitness told that 36 workers were working at the site and six to seven workers were burned and 7 others were transported to hospital by a helicopter. Yet 20 others are hospitalized in Mashhad for the burns.
Deputy oilminister Javad Oji, who also is managing director of National Iranian Gas Company, said to IRNA that the gasflow will be resumed within 24 to 36 hours.
