Aziz Mohammadzadeh was arrested October 2009 and was sentenced to death by the court in Saghez for moharebeh, the membership of a Kurdish group and acting against statesecurity.

The sentenced to death Dutch-Iranian citizen Zahra Bahrami and political prisoner Fatemeh Khorramjou were transferred to the methadonward of Evinprison.
This ward is a closed hall no larger then 30 to 35 meters. This section is normally used for dangerous criminals, including drug addicts. The prisoners are allowed outside to use fresh air less than one hour per day and are also excluded from other facilities such as the library.
They are not allowed to make telephonecalls and are only allowed cabin visits.
According to reports from the woman's ward from Evin prison three prisoners are being kept in the former cell of Shahla Jahedin.
“Change for Equality“ told that three prisoners Hengameh Shahidi, Faremeh Khoramjou and Zahra Bahrami, are in the cell of executed Shahla Jahed .
Also there is rumor of the early execution of: Kobra Rahmanpour, Lida Tavakoli and Sowgand Jahani.
Jahani is younger then 20 years and is accused of killing her husband.
In one of Evin prison’s solitary cells is Ladan Mostowfi, 45 , the daughter of Manoochehr, she has been kept in isolation for some time and is accused of moharebeh.

The Supreme Court has overturned the deathsentence of Farah Vazehan and her case is sent back to the 28th branch of the revolutionary court for review. Vazehan sentenced to death by Judge Salavati for moharebeh by cooperating with the MKO.
Her health is in a critical condition for heartproblems and she was on chemotherapy before her arrest.

Sadegh Garavand, for trafficking of 1070 grams of crack
Teymour Shah Karimi, for posession of 1045 grams and for trafficking of 149 grams of heroin
Abdollah Khliani for posession of 51 portions of heroin
Hossein Feizizadeh for trafficking of 600 grams of heroin
Amir Ali Mohammadi, for trafficking of 500 grams of heroin (also sentenced to 30 lashes for drugsaddiction)

Fatemeh Salbehi is sentenced to death for the murder of her husband, committed in 2008, when she was 16-year-old.
She is by branch 5 of the Criminal Court in Shiraz, province Fars sentenced to death. The verdict is confirmed by the Supreme Court and execution is imminent.
Initially she confessed, but later on she said two people broke into their home and killed her husband.

Iran: continueing
In 2011 is Iran hanged an average of one person every eight hours.The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran called on the Iranian Parliament and the Judiciary to immediately institute a moratorium on executions and to move swiftly to abolish the death penalty, in the face of skyrocketing executions following unfair trials and judicial proceedings.
Last weekend the Kurdish political prisoner Hossein Khezri was executed.In addition to him, Iranian media have reported a total of 46 executions in 2011: seven in Kermanshah on 1 January, sixteen in Ahwaz on 5 January, one in Asfaryan on 8 January, eight in Qom on 9 January, seven in Tehran on 12 January, five in Khorramabad on 13 January, two in Boroujerd on 14 January.
At least 14 other Kurds are sentenced to death: Zeinab Jalilian, Shirkoo Moarefi, Rostam Arkia, Mostafa Salimi, Anvar Rostami, Rashid Akhkandi, Mohammad Amin Aghooshi, Ahmad Pooladkhani, Seyed Sami Husseini, Seyed Jamal Mohammadi, Hasan Talei, Iraj Mohammadi, Mohammad Amin Abdollahi and Ghader Mohammadzadeh.

Studentactivist Pouria Mousavi who is also the head of the publicity unit of the Ayeen Magazine and a member of the Islamic Front of Iran, was arrested in his fathers house. He was also a member of Mousavi’s Campaign.

Reza Khandan, the husband of humanrights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh, has been arrested yesterday, when he arrived to the Prosecutor’s office to comply with the summon he received.
According to reports on the website Change for Equality , the charges against him remain unclear.
The court set a $50000 bail for his release, the bail amount posted by Nasrin Soutoudeh’s sister has not been accepted.

Yesterday was the Kurdish political prisoner Hossein Khezri secretly executed in the prison of Orumieh.
There only was published that a PEJAK member is executed.
His brother said hat he has not received a clear response from the authorities.
Hossein Khezri was in prison since July 31 2008 and was tortured.

Civil rights activist Mohammad Jian Mozafari was arrested along with 20 other persons when the police raided the house of the father of death row prisoner Habib Latifi.Many of them were later released.
He is transferred to an unknown location and there is no information as to his condition.

They told CDPP that they, due to extensive torture and threats of “sexual torture” and the detention of their families, were forced to make false confessions. There was never any evidence presented indicating their role or participation in this act.

In recent days speculations about the secret execution of Hossein Khezri has grown stronger.
January 13th told Mr. Elahinia, the head of branch 9 of the Execution of Sentences office of the Orumiyeh Revolutionary Court the brother of Hossein Khezri that the executionorder from the Orumiyeh Prosecutor’s office to carry out the death sentence was received. Since the lawyer was not present, the execution was temporarily postponed.
January 2nd, Hossein Khezri was transferred from ward 12 of Orumiyeh central prison to an undisclosed location. Since then, there is no detail on his fate.

They were sentenced to death in 2009 by the Tehran Revolutionary Court for drugstrafficking.

The Association of British Muslims asks attention for a 19-year-old Iranian boy who is facing imminent execution on charges of attempting to rape another man (sodomy or lavat), even though the allegation was withdrawn by the accuser.
Ehsan was 17-years-old when he was arrested in late 2008 in Shiraz, in the province of Fars, after a man pressed charges against him and two other youths, alleging that they attempted to rape him.
Under torture of a month Ehsan, the youngest of the 3 confessed. He was sentenced to hang. Ehsan has since withdrawn his ‘confession’, saying that it was extracted under torture.

Iran: attitude
The Iranian Intelligence Ministry says it has arrested a network of spies allegedly connected to Israel and responsible for killing a prominent scientist in 2009.
According to Mehr News months of widespread operations had led to the "deep infiltration" by Iranian intelligence agents of Israel's spy agency, the Mossad.
These operation led to the arrest of the spynetwork.
