Iran: secretly June 26, 2012

Website Kalameh reports that in various provinces of Iran has spread a new wave of arrests of internet activists.
Also is reported that authorities have desperately tried to keep these arrests from being publicized. The charges are such as Internet activity, or charges of blasphemy in cyberspace.
The families of the arrested are under intense pressure not to publicize these arrests. These arrests began on May 23, 2012, and so far, twenty people have been arrested from various provinces.
Other then Tehran,among the detainees are people from Ilam, Mashhad, Kermanshah, Rasht, Karaj, Zanjan and Khozestan.
They all have been transported to Evinprison.Almost all of these people were arrested in raids of their place of residence after 12:00 AM and their arrests were accompanied with much insults and degradation. Prisoners are interrogated to reveal names of their friends who are active online. Rumors say that these arrests are made by an anonymous group of IRGC, the Cyber Army. Although this group is said has started in 2006, it was a few months after the 2009 presidential elections that they entered the scene.
