Hossein Falah former secretary of Non-Government Organizations in Qazvin is arrested after being summoned to the office of the ministry of information in Qazvin.
The organization was shut down several years ago by the regime.

The mother of the blogger Sattar Beheshti who died in custody, told Sahamnews that she does not believe statements by the authorities regarding her son’s death and she is convinced he was killed in prison.
The coroners report indicated that Sattar Beheshti died from natural causes and has hinted at heart complications and that he was previously taking heart medication.
According to his mother he was suffering from no illnesses and did not take any medication.

The Kurdish student activist from Mahabad, Jamal Qader Nezad was sentenced to 5 years in prison for collaboration with an opposition party.

A Pakistani television station reported that president Ahmadinejad welcomed the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel but he seems to not be very optimistic. Iran has an alliance with Hamas. The leader of Hamas, on Wednesday thanked Iran for what he described as arms and funding.
