Iran: Mofsed-o-fel-Arz

Past week 8 people have been hanged in Sistan-e-Baluchestan province.
Last Wednesday, Hadi Daryakesh Naroui accused of kidnapping, shooting, and spreading fear in society, and Azizollah Najjarian accused of drug trafficking were publicly hanged in the city of Zahedan.

The hard-line daily Jomhouri Islami reported Thursday the two 'troublemakers'were accused of being Mofsed-o-fel-Arz (meaning corruptors of society, whose blood can be spilled).
Wednesday, the daily reported three men were hanged in public, named Mohsen Sargolzaee, Nader Kaharzehi en Maijd Kaharzehi, charged with kidnapping, shooting, and spreading fear in society and declared to be Mofsed-o-fel-Arz.
The same report said that another three men, Behzad Naroui, Mohammad Amin Hormozi, en Abdollah Sheikh Hassani, accused of being “mohareb”, a religious term that describes someone who wages war on god. of killing three agents of Iran’s State Security Forces (SSF), the paramilitary police, attacking security outposts, carrying out a bombing in Zahedan and the membership of the group Jondollah., were hanged in the city of Zahedan, Monday-afternoon.

The National Council of Resistance in Iran(NCRI) reports that according to the state-run daily Rooz,in May 2006 2 people named Mahboubeh M. en Abbass H. were stoned to death in the city of Mashhad.
The daily added that both were treated as if they were dead already.
Being a female, Mahboubeh was buried alive up to her shoulders, and Abbass was buried in the ground up to his waist.
Then, they were stoned to death by the volunteers who had come for the stoning.
Media news reports only said that they were executed.
At this moment at least 9 women and 2 men are awaiting their death sentences by stoning to be carried out.
