Iranian Health Minister Kamran Baqeri Lankarani has announced that Iran's scientists have produced a herbal medicine that boosts the human's body immunity system against the HIV/Aids virus,
The medicine IMOD consists of herbs from completely Iranian native plants.
On state radio said the Minister that It is not a medication to kill the virus, it rather can be used besides other anti-retroviral drugs.



Iran Chamber of Commerce,(ICIMM), has established a council to promote women economic activists’ activities.
The council has to setup of trade, industrial, transportation, communication, mine, agriculture, and tourism working groups.
Also creation of a website, and publications of a periodical for businesswomen are among other objectives of the council.


The first Fajr International Poetry Festival will be opened in Mashhad, the capital of Khorassan Razavi Province, on Feb. 6 and will move to Shiraz, Fars province, and Isfahan, Isfahan province, on Feb. 7 and 11.The festival ends February 12 in Vahdad Hall in Tehran.
The festival exists of 10 sections and poets from Afghanistan, Tajikistan, India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and Lebanon will participate.
For the closingceremony in Tehran is also invited the "zeverland"dutch poet Bart FM Droog.
This week Droog is invited by De Volkskrant to write a "weeklog".
