Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty says that one of its journalists is not allowed to leave Iran.
According to Herald Tribune are Iranian authorities investigating the case.
Parnaz Azima,working for persian languageservice Radio Farda/Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty entered Iran end of January to visit a sick relative.
On arrival the authorities took her passport and up till now, they didn't hand it back.
Azima has dual Iranian and US citizenship.
The journalist Ahmad Zeidabadi wrote an open letter to the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and asked him why criticism of the supreme leader's actions and decisions is banned in Iran.
He also asked Khamenei why Iranians should share his view on the nuclear issue.
Zaheibadi says many Iranians are concerned about the nuclear issue and the future of their country.
In recent weeks, a number of activists have called on Iran to suspend its sensitive nuclear activities and return to the negotiating table.
Zeidabadi has been jailed several times in Iran because of his critical articles.
US-media says that the US is to continue holding five Iranians captured in January in Iraq despite protests from Tehran.
The decision was made at a high-level meeting on Tuesday, the Washington Post said.
The five Ahwazi-arabs Afnan Azizi, Ahmad Asadi, Jaber Ebayat, Kamal Naseri and Salahuddin Helali Majd who were arrested in Syria, were released without charge.
About Ali Bouazar, who had fled Iran after being sentenced to death is nothing known.
In Iran there are childoffenders, still on death row.
