Iran: moral

The Iranian parliament (Majlis) banned reporters of al-Jazeera news network to protest perceived insults by the network against Iraq’s most revered Shiite cleric.

According to ISNA Gholam Ali Hadadeadel,Iran's parliament speaker, said that Al Jazeera reporters were not allowed to enter Iran's parliament building untill they extend a formal apology to Grand Ayatollah Sistani and the Iraqi nation.


Due to technical problems a Turkish Airlines flight was forced to land in Iran with aboard an Israelian.
The man reported having received a VIP treatment at the Tehran airport. He said that although in the beginning he was very afraid of what could happen to him, people were very nice to him.
After Turkish Airlines sent a replacement airplane, the flight was resumed.



Female public employees in Iran will soon have to wear a uniform abiding by new Islamic dress code rules. Every employee will receive two uniforms.
The measurement is part of a new "moralisation" campaign that kicked off last month.
Fereshteh Sasani, a top official at the office for women's affairs said the measurement will cost about two million euros.
