There were scattered demonstrations in Tehran which were broke up by the severe force of the Basij Militia, the cause of the demonstration was the public beating of a young woman by the moral police. People shouted slogans against the regime. This is reported on the following blogs: http://fleetingperusal.blogspot.com/
http://azarmehr.blogspot.com/

The slogans show that the upcoming election is just a show, the demonstrators clearly voted with their slogans. Hopefully the mass media will take the people into consideration. The Islamic regime is planning to slow down the vote casting process in order to show long lines at election offices, to pretend to a large turnout. Hopefully CNN, BBC and others will realize this and show how people of Iran feel about the Islamic regime.
