Iran: produce

Some 20 European, Asian and South American countries want to purchase the Iranian-made (MS) drug Cinnovex.
The head of Iran's Biotechnology Center said that Cinnovex is very similar to its US counterpart Avonex, but is priced half of the American version.
Cinnovex is the tradename for a recombinant interferon beta 1a, which is used for MS therapy.

India's state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) has discovered a new oilfield in the Farsi Block in the Persian Gulf.
The capacity of the oilfield and further relevant information will be revealed after calculation of cost-effectiveness.
Earlier, ONGC said it plans to invest $3 billion with its partners to develop Iran's Farsi gas block.


Iran Khodro will hit the market with 3 new models in the Samand sedan series in the second half of this year.
One of the new models will have quality enhancements to over 50 separate parts and an improved exterior.
The most significant development in the announcement is the introduction of the first model in the Samand series with an automatic clutch.
Iran Khodro says the design and testing phase of the automatic vehicle has ended and that preparations for the car are now underway.The car is expected to hit the market by the end of the summer.
The third new model will have a diesel engine.
