Sunday is activist, blogger and journalist Yaghub Mehrnehad (Mirnahad) hanged in the prison of Zahedan, Sistan-e-Baluchestan province.
He was sentenced to death in Februar 2008 for moharebeh (enemy of god) and membership of the Jondollahgroup.
Abdolnaser Taheri, was also hanged, he was convicted of the same charges.
The report of the executions was announced in many Iranian newspapers.
August 3 started XVIII International Aids Conference in Mexico.
Arash and Kamiar Alaei were to attend this conference. Both doctors are known for their pioneering work on HIV/AIDS.
Physicians for Human Rights published a video on YouTube in which they ask for the release of the two physicians who got arrested last month on charges of plotting a "velvet revolution".
