Iran: educate

Irannewsdaily reports September 3rd, website TABNAK wrote that female clients who referred to Road Construction Department of Kerman Province were stunned after security guards pushed them back.
The women wrote a protest letter to the head of department. There is no answer yet.



In Irannewsdaily is reported that a study by a student from Al-Zahra university reveals that psychological violence towards women is the main cause of suicidal thoughts, even if they have familymembers who back-up.
Based on this, suicidal thoughts among women with more education are less, compared to others.According to this income and economic parameters are irrelevant.
Sociologist Dr. Fazeli believes that drug addiction, marital abuse, ignorance about social and legal rights, unemployment, violence, sales of properties and women’s dowry and insistence on conduction of unlawful acts by women to make ends meet are some of the concerns women are facing in the community.
Dr. Fazeli underlined that the majority of women are completely unaware of their rights and become familiar with them only after attending judicial sources for resolution of disputes and benefiting from their guidelines.


The reformist daily Etemad Daily has been fined six million rials for "propagating lies".
The newspapers attorney intends to appeal.
