Iran: criticism

In the prison of the city of Arak is December 30 one man hanged.
Fars newsagency said that the man was convicted for drugstrafficking.


GlobalVoicesOnline reports that the daily Kargozaran is closed because they published a critical statement about Palestinian militants.
Kargozaran is a reformist newspaper that has been a frequent target of attack from rival hardline media over its content.
The published article was a statement of studentsmovement Office to Consolidate Unity (Tahkim Vahdat) that condemned both Israel and terrorist groups that take refuge in hospitals and schools.



Shirin Ebadi said that dozens of protesters gathered outside her house, shouting slogans which accused her of the American and Israelian crimes.
The police came after 30 minutes but before they left the protesters wrote graffity on the walls and tore down the sign of her office.

During the Israelian war with Lebanon, hackers were mostly from Morocco.
During the Russian war with Georgie Russian hackers hacked the website of the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
