Iran: view

GlobalVoicesOnline reports that Amir Heshmat Saran a political prisoner has died in the prison of Karaj.
The blogger Eshterak wrote (fa) that he had been beaten up and did not receive necessary medical care.
Saran was the chairman of the party Iran National Unity Front.
Five years ago he was sentenced to eight years in prison. After he described his experience inside the jail in various articles,his eight-year sentence was increased to 16 years.

The Guardian writes that according to the site Urumiye News a shoe was thrown to president Ahmadinejad in the town of Urumiye.
The incident happened while he drove through a central square.
The journal also writes that although Iran cheered the shoethrower from Iraq, this time they were not so happy with it.
Security guards went into the crowds but failed to find the culprit.

ILNA wrote that the policecommander of Tehran said no men were allowed to work in shops selling clothes for women.
Only the cashier is allowed to be a man, all other workers should be women.
Any violation of this directive will be dealt with severely.
