Abulfazl Abedini, member of HRA (Human Rights Activists) is charged with ‘acting against national security’ and was sent to Karun Prison in Ahvaz with bail set to forty million Toumans.
Abedini is arrested 2 July and has had no contact with this family and no access to an attorney.

Iranian statemedia report that 5 Iranian diplomats who were imprisoned in Irbil in 2007 by the American military, have been freed today.
The Iranian ambassador Bagdad said that they were handed over to the prime minister of Iraq. There was no comment from the US embassy.

Tehran governor said that new demonstrations will be "smashed".
July 9 (18 Tir) is the tenth anniversary of the student uprising at the university in Tehran in 1999.
The governor says that no request was made for any permit for rallies on Thursday and no permit has been issued.

The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran reports that unidentified agents yesterday arrested human rights lawyer and founding member of van Defenders for Human Rights Center (DHRC), Mohammad Ali Dadkhah, in his office.
The agents also arrested the other persons, present in the office Malihe Dadkhah (his daughter), Sara Sabaghian, Bahareh Dowaloo, and Amir Raiisian, and locked the office.
Bahareh Dowakoo was released the same night.
Dadkhah has been representing many of the recent detainees.
27 June is business and economic consultant Bijan Khajehpour Khoei arrested at the airport from Tehran following his return from abroad and transfered to an unknown location.
The reason for his arrest or his whereabouts were not revealed.
Khoei is diabetic and his family fears healthproblems.
During the post-election protests Khoei was abroad and is not known to have participated in any political activities
July 7 Fayzolah Arabsorkhi, a member of the central body of the Islamic Revolution Mujahedeen Organization and the former deputy minister of commerce, was arrested.
July 5, Jalal Mohammadlou, member of the youth branch of the Iran Participation Front in Tehran, was arrested while he was being taken to the hospital.
A number of students have also been arrested, including on 6 July Hesam Salamat, who had been expelled from Tehran University, Ali Taghipour, the former technical secretary of the student association in Mazandaran University, arrested on 30 June, and Nima Nahvi, a student at Anoushirvan Engineering University in Babol, who was arrested on 1 July while he was leaving the campus.
