The execution of Behnoud Shojaee, 21, who was scheduled this morning is postponed.
Shojaee is sentenced to death for a murder he committed when he was 16-year-old.
Yesterday, lawyer Mohammad Mostafaei received a notice that Shojaee this morning should be executed, he has been transferred to solitary confinement as a routine 24 hours before the execution.
This morning newspaper Etemad reported(fa) that the execution was postponed.
In 2008 the execution was postponed 4 times, in May, June, July and December.
The execution of 6 others is according to ILNA also postponed. It was not clear whether the executions would go ahead at a later date.

Shaker Baghi is sentenced to death for endangering national security and membership in Kurdish organizations. He is transferred from Sanandaj prison to Kashmar prison.
Baghi, who is political prisoner from Turkey was arrested in 2007 and interrogated and foltered in cells of the Intelligence Ministry.
After 2 years he finally was allowed supervised visitation with his family.
Initially he was sentenced to 30 years in exile to Kashmar's prison by the court in Sanandaj, but, while he had no legal representation, the appeals court of Kurdistan changed his sentence to death this past April.

The killing of merchants in bordertowns continues.
Last week in Surin-Saghez Kurdish citizen Ahmad Ghaderi was shot and that same day in region Balehsur-Salmas, Khaled was shot and injured.
Day before yesterday around Hamzeh-Abad in the region of Biranshahr,the armed forces opened fire on a number of cars under the guise of narcotics suspicion, and Mameh Khaledi from Mahabad was killed and several others wounded.

Televised confessions in Iran of high-profile reformists who confessed to more or less the same crimes, phrased in very similar ways, did people create a website called "Watch me Confess" inviting anyone and everyone to submit their own videotaped confession.

Reuters reports that Mehdi Karoubi on Wednesday asked to meet top officials including the president to be able to present evidence of the rape of some detained post-election protesters,
His website reports that Karroubi wrote a letter to parliament speaker Ali Larijani, who has dismissed Karoubi's rape allegations last week as "baseless."
