The official judicial site only reported that the unidentified man was convicted of "acts incompatible with chastity".

Journalist Ahmad Zeid-Abadi, has been awarded the 2010 Golden Pen of Freedom, the annual press freedom prize of the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA).
Zeid-Abadi is known for an open letter he wrote in 2000 protesting the judiciary’s treatment of imprisoned journalists.
Since that time he was imprisoned for multiple times.
In August he was arrested again and sentenced to six year in prison and a livelong ban to work as a journalist.
Zeid-Abadi is the second Iranian journalist to receive the prize in recent years, following Akbar Ganji in 2006.
