Iran: officials?

The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran released a 36-pages report on the anniversary of the disputed June 2009 election named: Men of Violence: Perpetrators of the Post Election Crackdown.
In dit report staan 15 profiles of officials who either implemented brutal policies of repression or instigated and promoted violence against protestors.

The names of the 15 officials:
1. Hossein Taeb, Commander of the Basij Forces during election.
2. Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, Minister of Information during election, currently the country's General Prosecutor.
3. Ismail Ahmadi Moghadam,Head of the Iranian police.
4. Saeed Mortazavi, during the election Tehran's Prosecutor, responsible for sending people to Kahrizakprison.
5. Sadeq Mahsouli, Minister of Internal Affairs during the election responsible for the attack of the student dormitories June 15th, 2009.
6. Abolghassem Salavati, presiding judge of Branch 15 of the Islamic Revolutionary Courts. He is one of the only three judges in charge of post-election cases and responsible for 9 deathsentences and is named “The Judge of Death.”
7. Seyed Hassan Firouzabadi, Chief of Staff of Joint Armed Forces of Iran,responsible for directing all military divisions and policies, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and police.
8. Mohammad Ali Jafari, Commander of IRGC.
9. Mohammad Moghisseh, Head of Branch 28 of Islamic Revolutionary Courts.
10. Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, Secretary General of Guardian Council.
11. Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Mesbah Yazdi, head of the Khomeini Education and Research Institute in Qom and member of Assembly of Experts.
12. Yadollah Javani, Head of the IRGC Political Office.
13. Rouhollah Hosseinian, member of parliament. Leader of 36 parliamentarians who introduced a bill te reduce the time between a deathsentence and execution to 5 days.
14. Ali Saeedi,representative of the Supreme Leader at the IRGC.
15. Hossein Shariatmadari, Managing editor of Kayhan Newspaper, one of the first accusing reformist presidential candidates of a velvet revolution during the vote count after the June presidential elections
.


Former agent of the Intelligence Ministry, Reza Malek is severely assaulted by security guards in Evinprison.
Malek, who is in his 70's was May 2i blindfolded and handcuffed by security guards transferred to and assaulted in the interrogation room of ward 240.

Malek was sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment after attempting to reveal some information regarding the chain political murders in Iran.He spent 6 years in solitary confinement.
He has not yet been released even though his prison term ended in May of 2009.
