Italian striker Francesco Totti has joines Adnkronos International Campaign: Flowers not Stones, to save Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiari from stoning. This campaign urges people all over the world to leave flowers outside the Iranian embassy.
Various intellectuals from countries including Iran, Lebanon, Morocco and Egypt support this campaign.
The international outcry around the verdict is big. The Vatican has said it is considering making an appeal on her behalf to the Iranian government.

September 6th is Mohammad Marvi, a dervish of the Nematollahi-Gonabadi order arrested for disobeying the police orders.
Several police-officers entered his office, and asked him to remove the pictures of the leaders of the Nematollahi-Gonabadi order from his office.
Marvi refused this and he was arrested. Later the officials returned to his workplace and collected the pictures after breaking the entrance door.
