In an attack on a patrolling police car in Sanandaj on Thursday were 5 people killed and nine others were injured.
According to Mehrnews two members of an antirevolutionary group attacked the patrolcar around 1700 local time.

Blogger Hossein Ronaghi Maleki (Babak Khorramdin ) who is convicted to a prisonsentence of 15 years has gone in hungerstrike to protest the verdict and the behavior of the judicial authorities.
His mother said that the authorities have told him that they would have been able to reduce his prison sentence if he had cooperated with them.
