Iran: further


The United States has imposed sanctions on 37 companies in Europe for trading with Iran.
The USA says that these companies in Germany, Malta, and Cyprus are all “front companies” owned by or acting for the Islamic Republic Of Iran Shipping Lines.

A senior from Education Ministry, Abolfazl Hassani said that universities in Iran begin teaching certain disciplines it deems too "Western," and existing courses will be revised.
12 disciplines in the social sciences like law, women's studies, human rights, management, sociology, philosophy,psychology and political sciences will be revised.
According to him these sciences' contents are based on Western culture. The review will be the intention of making them compatible with Islamic teachings.

The Iranian army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) will stage a military drill in November throughout the country, to demonstrate the defensive capabilities.
