Since the arrest of journalist Nazanin Khosrovani, five days ago, there was no information given by the authorities about her whereabouts.
Her mother says that she went to Evinprison, but that they told her that her daughters name is not on the prisonerslist.
She worked as a journalist for the political section of Kargozaran, Jomhouriyat, and Norooz newspapers in the past.
She has been unemployed and not working for any newspapers for the past seven months.

All female political prisoners in Evinprison have been transferred to the so-called methadonward.
The women’s methadone quarantine ward is reserved for prisoners who are addicts and use methadone as treatment to battle addiction to narcotics.
Since a new management team took over the women’s ward in Evin last week, the telephonelines have been cut of so all their contact with the outside world has been cut.
The jailed student activist Bahareh Hedayat was removed of her responsibility as head of the library at the women’s ward.

Heydar Armin from Oshnavieh who was imprisoned for 10 days is sentenced to 8 months in prison by the Revolutionary Court for collaborating with illegal groups.
Mokrian Newsagency reports that he is detained in Oroumiyeh Prison.
The Kurdish writer and poet Ghader Shiri who had been arrested 3 months ago by the security forces has been transferred to the Saghez Central Prison.

The 3rd branch of the Ahvaz Revolutionary Court has sentenced Massoud Ladani to 2 years and Parvin Kohzadi to 6 months in prison for acting against national security.
Ladani and Kohzadi both are members of Association for Cultural-Political Development of Khuzestan.
June 12th several members of the organization had been summoned. The organization has been active for over 10 years.

Alireza Ketabdar, head of Provincial Section of Hamshahri Newspaper, suspended four of the senior journalists from work.
Jamshid Poureskandar, Abbas Asadi, Soheila Niakan and Gholamali Shidfar who have worked at Hamshahri for at least 20 years have been sent home and been told they find a spot for them in the Local Section, or Research Department, or elsewhere.
The newspaper’s management has told members of the editorial staff that the trend will continue.
In the last year the management has changed to include many individuals who formerly worked in the police force or the Judiciary.
Since Mehdi Zakeri, who has come from the judiciary, is in charge, writers from some of the most radical pro-government publications have started working in the paper.

Newspaper Tehran-Emrouz reported on Monday that the Tehran police arrested a number of boys and girls and Western musical instruments and alcohol were seized.
Authorities recently regard an array of Western musical genres as decadent, including heavy metal as well as rap.
