Iran: violations

In the Iranian month Mehr humanrightsactivists reported more then 3370 violations of humanrights.
During the past month these include 1445 violations of the rights of workers, 1003 cases of torture and the violation of the rights of political or criminal prisoners, 350 arrests of citizens by the police, 228 cases of arrest and violations of ethnic minority groups, 128 violations of the rights of political and civil activists committed to freedom of speech, 98 violations of the rights of students, 71 cases of arrest and violations on religious minorities and 37 cases of judiciary orders, approvals or execution of the death penalty were reported.

Iranian prisons are filled by three times the capacity.
On this matter, the head of the Judiciary of the province of Tehran asked the Judicial Complexes to make new arrangements and designate new punishments that could replace prison sentences.
