Iran: attitude

The Iranian Intelligence Ministry says it has arrested a network of spies allegedly connected to Israel and responsible for killing a prominent scientist in 2009.
According to Mehr News months of widespread operations had led to the "deep infiltration" by Iranian intelligence agents of Israel's spy agency, the Mossad.
These operation led to the arrest of the spynetwork.

Amnesty International condemns the prisonsentences for humanrightslawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh and the journalist Shiva Nazar Ahari .
The organization urged (AI Index: PRE 01/010/2011) Iran to drop prison sentences against the humanrights activists.

The journalist Nazanin Khosravani is since her arrest, November 2010 in isolation and was only allowed once a visit from her family.
Sources report she is charged with acting against national security, that she has not accepted the charge as she has not done anything to warrant such an accusation.
Reasons for her arrest and her charges have not yet been announced by judicial authorities.
