More then 500 female teachers from Tehran province yesterday rallied to protest five months of backwages.
Since September 2010 they have only received two paychecks.
Some of the women told that certain departments affiliated with the Ministry of Education threathened to dismiss those who protested.

Agence France-Presse deputy bureau chief in Tehran Jay Deshmukh is expelled by Iranian authorities.
He and 10 other journalists were stripped of their press cards after the demonstrations of February 14th. The demonstration was covered by AFP and most of the international media.
