Iran: more

The revolutionary court in Tabriz convicted Azeri-activists Younes Soleimani, Mahmoud Fazli, Naeim Ahmadi, Aidin Khajei, Shahram Radmehr, Yashar Karimi, and Hamideh Farajzadeh each to 6 months in prison.
Alireza Abdollahi, Behboud Gholizadeh and Akbar Azad are also sentenced to 6 months of suspended imprisonment for 5 years.
Hassan Rahimi is acquitted after 4 months of solitary confinement.
These people were charged with membership in a party by the name of “Gamouh” and acting against national security.They spent 8 months in prison, 5 months of which was in solitary confinement.
Yourosh Mehrali Biglou, Latif Hosseini and Zahra Farajzadeh, other Azeri political activists, will be tried in the next days.

Saturday the Ministry of Information in Iran said that it dismantled a complete espionage and sabotage network, spying for CIA.
More then 30 people were arrested.
PressTV reported that 42 people were arrested.
There was no immediate response by U.S. officials.

The U.S. State Department announced that restrictions for Iranian students in USA are eased, making it possible to receive multiple-entry visas that are valid for up to two years.
