Iran: underprivileged

May 9 were eight men hanged in Orumieh and Miandoab.
According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) were five men hanged in the prison of Orumieh on drugsrelated charges. Newsagency Koukarian identified 3 of the men as Aref Rashidpour, Esfandiar Mondahaki and Teymor Ayoubian.
In Maiandoab three men were hanged, their names not have been made public.

Workers of the Spinning and Weaving Textile Company in Kashan, Isfahan province, protested against 32 months of back wages.
They are paid $80 a week, but the wages were cut down to only $40.00 per week.Since Iranian newyear, they didn't receive any payment at all.

A Kurdish woman from Ashnak village in Salmas County [West Azerbaijan Province] committed suicide by setting herself on fire.Tyran Mamedi Ghazl Kond committed suicide because of family problems and disputes.
Lack of social and cultural infrastructures in disadvantaged and underprivileged parts of the country brings about such tragedies.
