Iran: arrest

Masoud Bastani, who a few days ago was beaten up by a prisonguard of Rajaei Shahrprison, to the extend that he needed treatment in hospital, is transferred to solitary confinement.

June 2nd is Bahai Anisa Dehghani arrested by security agents when she was travelling from Isfahan to Mashhad for a visit with her friends.She is transferred to the intelligence holding jail in Mashhad.
Officials have given no explanation for her arrest.

Wednesdaymorning the journalist and poet Saeed Moghanli has been arrested in Azerbaijan in the house of his father.
Security agents also confiscated personal belongings.
Moghanli has been arrested on numerous occasions in the past years.
There is no disclosure of his location.

Hashem Khastar, the leader of Mashad Teachers Union and political prisoner in Mashad’s Vakilabad Prison, has been transferred to a ward with murderers and drugstraffickers.
His wife told International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran in an interview that prisonauthorities told her that because he wrote letters about the conditions and secret executions at Vakilabad Prison,he was transferred.
Khastar has been arrested in 2009 and sentenced to 6 years in prison, which sentence was reduced to 2 years.
