He suffers from a braintumor and has undergone a surgery recently.
Since the arrest nothing is heard from him and the family is concerned about his condition.

Thursday Masoud Bastani was severely beaten by a prisonguard.After that, he had to be hospitalized for a short time.
The guards of Rajaei Shahrprison found that Bastani took too long to say goodbye to his mother during her prisonvisit. He was beaten so severely that other visiting families began knocking the glasses in the meeting hall in order to object to the guards’ conduct.
