Iran: more

Judge Mohammadi of branch 71 of the Tehran Provincial Revolutionary Court sentenced an elderly man, named Saman to death for murdering his wife.
Fars Newsagency reported that the man killed his wife 2 years ago, when he was ordered to pay her mahrieh.
Mahrieh is an amount of money designated at the time of marriage to be paid by a groom to his bride whenever she demands it.

The father of imprisoned blogger Hossein Ronaghi Maleki told at an interview with International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran that another kidneyinfection can be deadly for his son.
He said that the interrogators of his son told him that they would kill Hossein and now they are delivering on that promise.
Maleki recently had a kidneytransplant and his other kidney has lost on functionality too.

The house of human rightsactivist and member of the Committee of Human Rights Reporters and the Association Against Educational Discrimination Navid Khanjan who was fined and sentenced to 12 years in prison, is watched since July 9th, by plainclothed agents.
The presence of such agents is against Iranian law and threathens security.
