Foreign Policy published a (long, but readable) article about Iran, describing how life in Tehran is, 2 years after the disputed election of 2009.

Yesterday Mehdi Karroubi finally was allowed to receive a visit from his wife and his eldest son. According to his son he is in good condition both physically and mentally. and spoke of remaining steadfast and even more true to his convictions.
His eldest son also referred to the rumors eluding to a forced confession of Karroubi and said that he informed his father of the rumors and he responded: “I remain steadfast and true to my convictions and will not retreat even an inch from my positions.”

Khamenei warned Wednesday that a parlamentary election who is scheduled next year, can be a potential risk to the country’s security and he called for national unity.
