Iran: violation

Iran has banned two newspapers.
IRNA reported that the reformist weekly "Shahrvand-e Emrouz" has been shut down for violating presslaws. Sources say that publishing an image of president Ahmadinejad on the cover of the weekly was the reason for its ban.
The daily "Ruzgar" is temporary closed for publishing propaganda.

In an open letter to the head of Assembly of Experts a group of political and civil activists demanded amongst other things, that all political prisoners be released from prison and changes be made to the members of the Guardian Council allowing for the appointment of individuals with a variety of viewpoints and political backgrounds.
The undersigners are: Fazollah Salavati, Seyed Ali Nekoui, Seyed Mahmoud Hosseini, Norouzi, Houshang Elham, Teymouri, Madaniyan, Hashem Javaheri, Ghadirzadeh, Behzad Hagh Panah, Mostafa Meskin, Mostafai, Fatollah Moein, Vatankhah, Dadkhah and tens of other activists.

The journalist, poet and head of the bookdepartment of Shargh Newspaper Ali Reza Roushan is along with other journalists of Majzooban Noor website arrested by plainclothed agents and brought to an unknown location.
The names of the other arrested are Hamid Moradi Sarvestani, Reza Entesari, Alireza Roshan, Ali Karami, Mehdi Osanloo, Mehdi Hosseini, Ali Astaraki, Mostafa Abdi, and Mehran Rahbari.
The website reported that in addition to these arrests also 2 derwishes named Nusrat Tabasi and Ali Moazami have been arrested.
September 4 is a group derwishes from Sirjan and Kurd City who were traveling to Kavar county arrested by plainclothed officers. Their names are: Ahmad Reza Hosseini, Akbar Ahmadi, Mehdi Azizi, Mohammad Mousavi, Jamal Hosseini, Khosrow Dari, Hasan Veyes Ghali, Hossein Asadi, Majid Moteghian, and Hamid Pourreza Ghali.
September 2 occurred in Kavar county an incident involving basij, resulting in many arrested or wounded people.
The fathers of Shahbaz Zareh and Amanollah Cheraghi, Manouchehr Zareh and Hossein Ali Cheraghi were arrested, Abdolreza Arayesh,Hamid Pourreza Gholi, Khosrow Dari, Majid Moteghian, Hossein Assadi Fereidooni, Hassan Veisghali, Hamid Parhizgar, and Hekmat Naderi were arrested also.
