Iran: money

In the prison of Qom is November 24 a man hanged.
The man L.A. was convicted for smuggling and keeping 340 kg of crack.
Mehrnews also reported that on July 3rd also a man was hanged.
This execution has not been reported by official Iranian sources previously.


The IRINN-news-channel reported that another 27 people were arrested over the recent $2.8 billion bank corruption case.
A criminal case has been filed against 50 people.
Prosecutor General of Iran Gholamhossein Mohseni E'jei said that in recent months 126 people have been brought to justice, 106 people of them are charged with this case.

ISNA reports that president Ahmadinejad said that inflation in Iran is currently at 19.3%.
The president did not specify what time frame the rate corresponds to.
The inflationrate rose in the 12 months before October from 18.3% to 19.1%.
