Iran: optional?

November 7 wrote the son (FA) of Mehdi Karroubi that his mother, Fatemeh Karroubi confirmed that his father has respiratory problems.
These are a result of lack of access to fresh air.
Karroubi has housearrest since February 2011 and has not been outside in the past 100 days.

At his trial November 2, Ebrahim Yazdi, 80, the former Secretary General of the Iran Freedom Movement choose to remain silent and not defend himself.
His son told the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran that his father found the court unqualified for reviewing his charges and he therefore not defended himself.
Yazdi was arrested in October 2010 and is being charged for “assembly and collusion against national security,” “propagating against the Islamic Republic of Iran,” and “establishing and leading the Iran Freedom Movement.”
