ISNA reported that the man, Kianoosh S. K. G. was hanged in public at "Danesh Square" in Shahr-e-Kord.
The man was sentenced to death for kidnapping and rape.
According to the official website of the judiciary in Fars were today in the prison of Shiraz two men amputated.
One foot of a prisoner who was convicted of armed robbery, was amputated, his hand was amputated before.
In the same prison was one hand of another prisoner also amputated this morning.

A new gasfield is discovered in Iran in the Caspian Sea, containing about 50 trillions of cubic meters of gas.
