Iran: execution

Newyear 2012 started according to unconfirmed reports in Iran with at least 25 executions.
Markazinews wrote that on January 3 "J. Sh." en "A. A." were hanged.
They were convicted for keeping and carrying of resp. 2,5 kilos and 4400 grams of heroin and crack.
The website Human Rights and Democracy Activists of Iran" (HRDAI) reports that January 2, 22 prisoners were executed in secret in Evinprison. The report says that they all were convicted for drugsrelated charges and they were transferred from Ghesel Hesar prison in Karaj on January 1 to Evinprison in Tehran.
From 13 people the names are listed:

The Kurdistan Newsagency Kurdpa writes that Monday was hanged Salah Rashidi from the village Avila in the prison of Zanjan. He was convicted for drugstrafficking.

An official in Pakistan said that the three detained Iranian border guards face murdercharges.
The date for the trial has not yet been set.
Iran asked Pakistan to release them because they crossed the border unintentionally while chasing smugglers.
