The Appeals Court of Mazandaran province has upheld the 3 years prisonsentence of blogger, womans rights activist and member of One Million Signatures Campaign Fereshteh Shirazi .
She had been arrested on September 4, 2011 and was charged for her activities as a blogger and member of the Campaign.

In recent weeks the speed of the internet in Iran dropped.
ISNA writes that the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has indicated that it is making efforts to improve the quality of internet service and to resolve the problems for Iranian internet users by the launch of a "clean" internet.
Reporters Without Borders said that this project shows shows that the regime wants to impose total censorship on all sectors of society.

The police in Pakistan arrested three Iranian borderguards.
Reports say that the borderguards pursued two men in a car in Sistan-e-Baluchistan province into Pakistan and shot a man. The men were reportedly involved in smuggling.
