Iran: charged

Iranian stateradio reported that in the city of Aran- Bigdel a man has been hanged.
The not named man was charged with keeping of 760 grams of crack, 4 grams of synthetic heroin and 11 grams of opium.

A group of 19 members of parliament are seeking to impeach the Minister of Labor, Cooperatives and Social Welfare Abdolreza Sheikholeslami after he appointed former prosecutor Saeed Mortazavi as head of Social Security Organization, who has been accused of links at the suspicious deaths of people who were in custody in Kahrizakprison in 2009.
Newsagency Fars reported that an impeachment motion has been undersigned.

The journalist, Nationalist-Religious activist and blogger Ehsan Houshmand, who is imprisoned in Evinprison is during interrogations severely beaten.
He has been arrested on January 7, 2012 and was being kept isolated, but he has been transferred to Ward 209. Despite the transfer he is still deprived of the right to regular telephone calls and visitations.
