Iran: more 29 April 2012

International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran said that Iranian government should immediately investigate and hold accountable those responsible for the numerous cases of border security forces killing couriers in the northwestern provinces of West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, and Kermanshah.
ICHRI counted 74 deads and 76 injured between March and April 2012. All these people worked as kulbar, people  that carry illegally-imported goods, such as tobacco, electronics and tires on their backs and kasebkar, tradesmen who transport similar goods into larger towns.
These people live and work in the predominantly Kurdish northwestern border provinces of Iran.
A list of names of these individuals is below the article.

In the store in the women’s ward is no more fruit, meat and other important food items.
It now has been two months that the female political prisoners have been deprived of fruits and vegetables. Their families were also disallowed to give personal hygiene items like shampoo and tooth brush to the prisoners.
Currently there are 26 female political prisoners.
