Journalist and activist of the Green Movement Reyhaneh Tabatabaie has been sentenced to 1 year in prison.
She is political editor at Shargh News Paper.She has been charged including publishing news regarding political prisoners and news regarding the Green Movement,She also has been charged for attending the ceremony held for Neda Agha Soltan.

German customs halted April 2nd a shipment of 2.5 kilograms sodium thiopental for Iran that also is used to execute people by lethal injection.Sodium thiopental is the first of three components used on death-row convicts to induce coma and death.
The EU, which opposes the death penalty, has restricted its export.

March 30 the Committee to Facilitate Travel in Isfahan announced that Afghans on April 1st (Sizdeh Bedar)were banned from Sofeh Park in order "to ensure citizens' welfare." According to a spokesman there was extensive presence of Afghans" at the park in previous years and the creation of insecurities for families.
On Facebook and other social media Iranians protested this discrimination (photo). This isn't the first time Afghans in Iran have faced discrimination.

A worldwide campaign to save sentenced to death Abdolreza Ghanbari, has been started by Defence of Iranian People’s Rights (CODIR).
Hij has been charged with moharebeh(enmity with god) and connections to PMOI.
The sentence has been upheld and a request for a pardon has been rejected in February.
