May 16 is in the prison of Zanjan a man hanged.
The not named man was according to Fars newsagency convicted for participating and keeping of 49,5 grams of Shisheh.
In Iran were yesterday and today in 3 different cities 26 people hanged.
In Kermanshah were 7 prisoners hanged. A. A. (woman) for posession of 27 kilograms of heroin, R. A. for keeping 100 kilograms of morphine and 254 kilograms of opium, Kh. Sh. for keeping 57 kilograms of opium, M. B. for participating and keeping of 69 kilograms of opium, A. S. for participating and keeping of 4 kilo 548 grams of morphine, M. S. for participating and keeping of drugs, and M. Kh. for keeping of 1529 grams crack.
3 men were hanged on May in the prison of Ardebil for keeping of 105 grams of heroin, 498,15 grams of heroin and 160 kilograms and 493 grams of opium.
16 people, 4 of them women and 5 Afghans were hangee on May 17 in the prison of Yazd.

Opposition Leader Mir Hossein Mousavi urged upon hearing the news of political prisoner Mohammad Motamednia to end his hungerstrike.
Motamednia started a hungerstrike to protest the housearrest of the opposition leaders. He is on the 36th day of his hunger strike and has reportedly lost more than 30 Kilos and is in bad health.

Wednesday Javan Online published a story of recent talks between the Headof Iranian Qods and the Leader of Hezbollah.
In these talks Suleiman warned Hezbollah that “radical” figures within the resistance group, who were calling for a pre-emptive strike on Israel, must be dealt with “firmly.”
They made no mention of where and how the alleged conversation had taken place.

The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ received an order from American federal court to freeze Iranian assets in worth of $2.6 billion for compensation of the victims of the 1983 bombing on an armybarrack in Beirut.
In 1983 241 American soldiers died when a 19-tonne explosives-laden truck rammed through barricades and detonated in front of the US barracks.
