Journalist,human rights activist and former writer for newspaper Khordad, Farshad Aswad has been arrested, when he was leaving the country for Malaysia.
Jaras writes that he had voiced concern about the possibility of being arrested the night before his scheduled departure from the country.
Aswad is a relative of Reza Khandan, the husband of imprisoned human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh.He was in the process of making a documentary about her.

Ali Larijani has been reelected as speaker for Iranian parliament. He defeated Gholam Ali Hadad Adel. Both are criticising president Ahmadinejad and are allies of Supreme Leader Khamenei, but Adel is more moderate.

Iran rejects its alleged role in plotting to topple the regime in Bahrain.
Mehrnews writes that the spokesman of Tehran's Foreign Ministry, said that Iran does not "intervene" in the internal affairs of Bahrain.
Sunday 8 people were convicted in Bahrain on accusation of conspiring with suspected Iranian agents to overthrow the regime of Bahrain.
