Iran: transfer, June 28, 2012

Journalist and political prisoner Bahman Ahmadi Amoui who was arrested on June 20, 2009 is serving his prisonsentence of five years and four months in Evinprison. June 20th, 2012 he was suddenly transferred to Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj.
June 25 it was reported that he had been transferred to the solitary confinement ward at Rajai Shahr reserved for hard core criminals on death row.
Website Kalameh interviewed the brother van Amoui. In this interview his brother says among other things that there was no reason and they did not present a courtorder for this transfer. He also said that the ward in Rajaei Shahrprison is reserved for prisoners on death row and that anyone who has been transferred there has left with a myriad of physical and psychological ailments.

IRIBnews reported that a cargoplane from Lufthansa has made an emergy landing Thursday morning at 3.30 on the airport of Ahwazcity in Khuzestan.
The International Civil Aviation Organization of Khuzestan province reported that the emergency landing was decided upon because of technical issues and after checking, the plane continued to its destination to Saudi Arabia.
