Iran: further July 9th 2012



Six political activists from Ahwaz were sentenced to death.
Mohammed Omouri, Hadi Rashidi, Hashem Shaabani, brothers Jaber al-Bushokeh and Mukhtar al-Bushokeh were sentenced to death for moharebeh and posing a threat to national security.
In the same case Abdul Rahman Asakereh is sentenced to 20 years in prison and was Ismail Abayat sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Iranian statemedia say that Iran plans to
block
the Street of Hormuz the passageway through which a fifth of the world’s oil flows,July 1st the European Union enforced a total oil embargo against Iran.
Iranian parlementsmembers prepared a bill that would order the country’s military to stop tankers headed to countries that have joined the oil ban.
Iranian media said that Ali Larijani stated that the proposed bill has not yet been studied by parliament.

In Kerman province police detained an arms-dealing group. How many people were arrested is not known, but police confiscated at the arrest four AK-47 with ammunition, four Colt guns, and various rifles were seized from the group members.
