Irandailybrief wrote that on Wednesday September 5th 3 men were executed in Evinprison. They were charged with rape.
September 3 were 3 men hanged in Rajai Shahr prison. They were sentenced on drugsrelated charges. Two of them were brothers, Parviz Parvizi, 1978 and Iraj Parvizi, 1980.

During a meeting with students of The Islamic Association of Tehran University at the University of Medical Sciences, former president Mohammad Khatami was highly critical of the extreme security measures that in his words have turned “universities into garrisons”, expressing regret over the annual meeting of the Alumni Association being cancelled despite detailed planning and an initial agreement and approval by the university officials.
