Iran: more September 21, 2012



September 20were in Iran at least 6 people hanged.
IRNA reported that in the prison of Doroud, Lorestan Province one man has been hanged.
The unnamed man was sentenced for keeping 9 kilos and 618 grams of heroin.
In the prison of Shahrud were "M.M.", "A. M." and "M. R." hanged.
They were convicted for keeping and trafficking great amounts of crack.
Kurdish site Kurdpa writes that in the prison of Urmia Hashem Jahangiri and Iraj Deylami were hanged on drugsrelated charges.
Unconfirmed reports say that another 4 men had been hanged.

Student activist Sarosh Sabat has been reported to Evinprison to begin serving a two-year sentence. He was accused of undermining state security and public order.
