Ahmad Shaheed, the special rapporteur for human rights in Iran from UN said at a presentation of his report in New York that more than 300 people have been recorded executed in the first eight months of this year in Iran.
He also said that members of the Baha’i community are the most persecuted religious minority in Iran.
Shaheed took his post in June, 2011. He has not been able to visit Iran.

DEBKAfile reports that Iran’s secret cyber war-room is located in the secret internal security headquarters of Hizballah in the Shiite Dahya district of South Beirut.
The hackers and cyber experts who recently attacked American banks and Saudi oilsites and which guided an Iranian stealth drone into Israeli airspace, operate from Hizballah headquarter in Beirut.

Yesterday the ongoing row between president Ahmadinejad and influential members of gouvernment exploded when Ahmadinejad in a letter accused the head of the judiciary Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani of protecting “certain individuals” from prosecution for economic corruption.
He also demanded access to Tehran’s Evin prison.

Amnesty International is concerned over the continuing housearrest of the Iranian oppositionleaders Mousavi and his wife Zahra Rahnavard and Mehdi Karroubi.All three are since February 2011, without trial confined to their house, have limited access to their familymembers and no legal representation.
