Iran: more November 17th 2012

Iran postponed until 2014 the plans to start-up of a second researchreactor in Arak.
Iran continued to install cooling and moderator circuit piping in the heavy water plant near the town of Arak.
Nuclear experts say that this type of reactor can be used for nuclear arms.
But according to the latest reports Iran has now delayed the planned timetable.

The airfares for domestic flights are increased with 50%. The cost of an international fare will rise more than 107%.
The daily Etemad wrote that Central Bank has issued its decision and informed international transportation companies that the new increase applies to both domestic and international fares.

At the 25th International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA),dat gehouden wordt van 14 tot 25 november, 4 Iranian films will be screened. The films are: Taha Karimi’s “I am a White Mercenary”, Farahnaz Sharifi’s “Bahama Revolution Memories of Leyla’s Lover”, Reza Razavi’s “Leaden Seconds” and Mohammadreza Fartoosi’s “25 Individuals.”.
Iranian filmmaker Samira Makhmalbof will be part of this year's jury at the IDFA.
