As a result of ongoing restrictions, extreme pressure and security threats imposed on them, it has been exceedingly more difficult to publish information about Mir Hossein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavard.
Despite that and in an effort to uphold the basic rights of every political prisoner that has been illegally detained to inform the public of their plight, Kaleme has decided to publish all news it has received from a variety of credible sources.

Journalist Alireza Roshan has been taken to jail to serve his prisonsentence of 5 years. He was convicted of assembly and collusion aimed at disturbing national security.
